Contact The Frequent Flier

The Frequent Flier is written and built by Michael Chen, and email reaches him directly. There is no contact form and no shared inbox — one address, read by one person, usually answered within a few business days.

hello@thefrequentflier.com

The Frequent Flier is an independent publication based in San Francisco, California, United States. It has no newsroom, no wire service and no PR list; it is one person, public filings, and the tools built on top of them.

What to write about

Corrections

A wrong figure, a misdated route, an aircraft assigned to the wrong operator — send it and it gets checked against the filing it came from. Corrections are made on the page itself, with the change noted. What gets corrected and how is set out in the editorial policy.

Story tips

Route filings, fleet moves, schedule changes, loyalty-program repricing — anything happening in the business of flying. Tips are read by the person who writes the briefings, not a desk. Say up front if you want to stay off the record.

Data and methodology

Questions about how a number on the Flight Deck was derived — which filing it came from, what window it covers, how carriers are rolled up. Every data page carries its source line; if the answer isn't there, ask and it will be.

Advertising and press

Advertising runs programmatically and buys no influence over coverage — the terms are on the advertising disclosure page. Press and syndication requests go to the same address.

What this address is not for

The Frequent Flier is not an airline, a travel agency, or a booking service, and it cannot look up, change, or refund a reservation, move a seat, or trace a bag. If a flight is the problem, the airline that sold the ticket is the only party that can act on it — the airline directory is a starting point for finding the right carrier, and the live FAA delays map explains what the national airspace system is doing right now.

Guest posts, sponsored articles, and link placements are declined without exception. Coverage is not for sale, and no piece here carries a paid link.
